Turned out great! I should have put the vents in too but didn't. It is a nice finishing touch.

Your daughter is growing up. THe blouse is perfect for her and looks great, even the collar that you say is wonky.

Thanks. I changed the picture so you can see it better. The collar wonkiness can only be seen in the inside of the shirt. She really likes it, with the only complaint is that if she leans on something, the button shafts bother her. I was thinking of putting that coverall type stuff that Marty uses for embroideries on it, so it will cover the button thread and just be a bit softer.

Cuteness factor aside, it looks great on your daughter who is very pretty. Good job, Theresa!!!

Thanks everyone.
Marty, the coverall stuff that you use for your embroideries - is it sew in or iron on? I can't remember, but I did buy some, I just need to dig it out. I do know that the last time I looked at it there were no instructions with it. :?

Theresa, the stabilizer that I use most on my embroideries is Floriani's Heat & Sta Tear-Away that I buy from my dealer. That is what I used on the preemie gown. I use different types of stabilizers depending on the project. For this one of the denim pockets, I used a medium weight tear-away. It's about $30 a roll for 25yds. You won't find it at any Hancock or Jo-Ann's stores. It is different from garment interfacing which I don't buy locally either, I digress. I just hoop the stabilizer, spray some 505 spray on the denim, press by hand to the stabilizer, & stitch. Afterwards, I pull away the excess. I can usually get 2 design hoopings from one piece of stabilizer for my 4 x 4 hoop. The excess I save for my small hoop of 1-1/2 x 2 inch hoop. That's good for minature designs. Hope that this helps.
