Well no pics yet...but I really got come quilting MOJO yesterday...and quilted a VQC UFO that I've had since Sept. It's the B&W one that Laura referred to in the thread about modern quilt pattern. I think the fact that our Jan meeting is next Monday had something to do with me getting my mojo though ! I kept putting it off as I couldn't decide what to do to quilt it. Well I finally decided that it was better to just get it done and decided to do a simple large meander.
But I had some borders too and didn't want to do meandering over the borders, so I decided to practice the leaf pattern that is January''s FMQ tutorial on SewCalGal's FMQ Challenge (http://sewcalgal.blogspot.com/2012/01/welcome-to-2012-free-motion-quilting.html)
OK...while writing this I decided to go take a pic of the leaves I did in the borders....kinda like a vine. I didn't practice these as I learned these as an ivy pattern when I first started FMQ but haven't really done them in a long time. This just got me thinking and trying them again. I'll post a pic of the entire quilt once it is totally finished with binding.
