I've been on the computer all day today and there have been no new posts. It is kind of creepy. Normally we'd be chatting up the big storm blowing in. So where is everyone?

We have been battening down the hatches here at home after a day at the office. Toronto et al will be getting a hit from Hurricane Sandy around midnight. The worst should be over by the time we normally leave for work, 7:30 am. Take care, stay safe.

Stay safe, NanaBear. I have spent the day trying to get my wonderful new machine to do free motion quilting without breaking the top thread. Have done all the required things, been on the boards looking for advice. Dealer is first call in the morning...yuck!!

I got on early yesterday and got caught up with my reading, because I was not on at all on Sunday. Then I read the paper to make sure my obit was NOT theere.. LOL. I worked on Christmas bibs for the charities after that. I have 5 ready to serge now. The red ones have to wait til I change the color on the serger. I will do the white ones in a little while. I cannot tear myself away from the TV watching shat Sandy is doing up north.. Our mountains are getting snow and wind, but that is all the effects we are feeling. Of course it is cloudy here but so far just a brisk breeze all day yesterday and this morning also.If DS gets home in time I will go to our Shepherds Center open house at their new offices this afternoon. It is from 3 to 6 PM, I hope he gets here with my car so I can go.
I am waiting til Thursday to sew anything except the bibs. They don't count for the clallenge because the fingertip towels are not fabric. I may count the ribbing, on the later ones, but somehow I don't think its worth the time and effort to do so.
