my first crochet project

I am so tickled with this shrug for my 7 yr old DGD! It was really easy once I got some help reading the pattern and didn't take too long at all!

Wow, Laura, you didn't start off making coasters or anything easy! That is gorgeous, well done! :applause:

Wonderful job! :applause:
I'm also amazed that you started with a more complicated pattern. :o Of course, anyone who can knit like you do is bound to find crochet easy. :D
Your DGD might have to have more in different colors. :D
I'm creative. You can't expect me to be neat too.

That's terrific, Laura. She'll love it, I'm sure.

I love it! I need to do some crocheting, all this talk on the boards is making me want to pick up my hook again.

Aw, you ladies are too sweet! It was really a very easy pattern, once I got some help with it. I definitely would make it again though, it went really fast.
