Things I've learned from children.

I love these lists! Here's what I learned about girls:
-The skinniest girl on the soccer team is the one who eats the most donuts.
-Beating a boy in a pizza eating contest will impress them, but only during the middle school years.
-Barbie shoes do not make a sound when they are dropped down the floor heater, but they do smell when they melt in the heating ducts (I learned that from my brothers).
-Nail polish makes permanent, and quite garish, eye makeup on dolls.
-Girls like to spend a lot of time in the bathroom, but they do not like to clean the bathroom.
-Two girls sitting on the same couch will text each other, post messages on one another's facebook wall, and watch a Ryan Reynolds movie all at the same time.

What I've learned from these lists (And if I wanted to take the time to come up with one I know I could! Maybe later while knitting I'll do some thinking. ) is that I'm very grateful that I had both a boy and a girl to see the spectrum. Quell differance!! Right off the bat.

And secondly I'm very grateful that I missed kids in the high tech age. That constant texting would have given me fits! Not to mention the associated bills.
