JUST THE BINDING TO GO!! Can you tell I am excited!! Katie is moving back in Thursday and I wanted a new quilt for the room she will be in. Her husband if off Northwards to Derby to Med School and she will be finishing her PhD down here in Cambridge - so it is just a temporary measure until she can join him. When I finish there will be photos. Many photos.

Forgot to say I just brought back a suitcase of old tshirts from my future DIL's dad that recently passed away, to make 2 quilts, one for her and one for her sister. These are regular pullover or golf shirt tshirts, no logos of any sort. I have some ideas in my brain to do these in combo with solid color fabrics. Also just got my order from Fat Quarter Shop in Texas, a package of Kona Merlot solid FQ, 2 yards of Kona Bone solid and a Kona solid color card which I am very excited with. Now I can just order the color I want without wondering if it's going to match!! Will try to get back sewing this week, though I'm absolutely wiped out from the weekend, and am working very early shift all week. Today was insane at work! I think after I finish my glass of wine and playing here, I am going to hit the hay.

Yesterday I finished quilting the charity quilt and sewed on part of the binding...sewed to back and just need to turn to front and sew it down. But going out to lunch today with former work colleagues. Then need to cut my grass when I get home and have a guild meeting tonight. So won't be finishing the binding today.

I bet they are off swiping up socks that are missing from my laundry! :anxious:

I am having a few quilters at the lake this weekend so am getting some UFOs ready to be FORMER UFOs. Between eating, swimming and chatting.

Went to a sew in at one of the quilt guild ladies houses last night and worked on my rainbow quilt. It's almost ready for binding. I'm just trying to decide how to quilt the bottom half. And I have a heck of a mess in the sewing room and I took about 4 projects to her place, not sure what to work on, and now I have to put it all back together so I can find what I need. I am getting myself overwhelmed with things I want to get done before Oct 31, I need to sit down and start prioritizing. I have a white board by my cutting table that I write my projects on, and check off when I get each stage done. Haven't used it for a bit, and it's time to get it written on so I can get going and see some progess. All I see right now is a pile of stuff that doesn't seem to be getting smaller!
