So right on the thinking that it should be fixed. I totally agree. Had not thought that far ahead.

Sounds like your fix is quite do-able Judy. I would have tried to pull the whole block out first which would have been lots of extra work!

Well the block, although not perfect, is now fixed. It took me all of 30 minutes to rip out and sew it back in. It's much better now...and good enough for me!
