a bit obscure

A Higgs Boson particle went into a church
"Hey, the Priest said," we don't allow Higgs-Boson particles in here."
"But without me," said the particle '"how can you have any mass?"

Jan, you never fail us. I'm surprised I understood the joke. Not much of a science person am I.

Five minutes later and I'm still shaking my head at this joke.

And considering retelling it. :)

Jan,
we go to an improv comedy show once a month and one of the things they do is a bit with jokes like this.
They start with this phrase,,.
Two___________ walked into a restaurant and the waiter said "We don't serve ________ here because.... (punchline)

The audience fills in the blank and the performers provide the punch line. Sometimes they are downtright hilarious. Sometimes they are real groaners.
Somehow, I think you would be really good at this game and they might want you to join the comedy troupe!
