One Week ...

New postby MartySews2 on Sat Apr 28, 2012 4:14 pm

It's been a week since I was discharged from the hospital. I still can't raise my arms but hubby took me today to get my hair done & bought me a new purse & lipstick. It's the little things that make me appreciate him so much. Here is a photo that my daughter took of me this afternoon so you can see I don't look sickly. I'm not wearing any makeup ... just a little brow pencil & lipstick. The top is one that hubby bought me last Sunday since I didn't have any button up tops.

SM, I guess that it is as I haven't had any electrical shocks so I consider that a good thing. I won't see my cardiologist for a follow-up visit until June 28th. I'll find out more then. I had just stepped out front to have the photo made mostly for my family & then went back to bed. My hubby picked out the top for me. I think he has good taste or at least knows what I like. The new purse is an olive khaki leather with gold trim. Very stylish & roomy.

Looking good. I was wondering about you yesterday but have been a little busy with my friend this week. Glad you are doing ok and "good for hubby" for making YOU feel good. I like the little things too, mostly when Joe brings me a package of cupcakes from the snack machine :) I quit buying junk food as I eat the whole box/package/etc. so Joe used to bring them to me until they changed brands and I do not like the new brand :(

It's the thought that counts but my tastebuds don't like it when I just think about cupcakes...lol
