Thank you, but I looked at those and they're significantly different. The shape she likes is basically a circle folded in half, with a few inches of stitching at each end for the sleeves. (and a neck hole!) When I get around to making one, I'll probably just make a pattern from one of her existing shirts. I was just frustrated that there isn't a pattern that exact shape when it's SO popular in the stores right now.

Beth, it's been my observation that patterns run about a year behind what is in the stores. I'm looking into some pattern making software so I can create the look I want & use patterns for detail ideas.

So by the time the pattern comes out, the garment is no longer in style? That would explain a lot of the patterns that are currently offered....
