since I'm doing another one, some of the ideas she has come up with are
polka dots
solids
kitchy - I found a cute cherry fabric, blue cherries with the occasional red one thrown in.
stripes
spring fling - pinks yellows blues
summer - oranges, yellows, reds
neutral - white, cream, black, brown
foliage - leaves, etc, greens and browns
