I love quilts! I just don't have the patience to make one. I have made some simple ones in the past ( before I got married & had kids). They were all just 6"-12" squares sewn together sandwiched with batting & tied at each block corner or center depending on the quilt. one year I made 9 for all my nephews for Christmas. I was still tying them on Christmas Eve. A few years ago we did handmade present exchange for my families Christmas I did a denimn (old blue jean legs) quilt & embroidered everyone's name who was in the family at that time. We have gained a few & lost a few ( Death & divorce). my nephew who got it was one of the divorced ones. last I knew it was at my brothers. My sister made one the same year!
Now we leave all the quilts to my sister who has an embroidery machine. She does them all on it.
