problem with design

Ok, here's the arrow I was talking about in general sewing. The photo is taken with it still in the hoop, the rest of the design is fine, but as it's starting to put the underlay stitching down for the arrow bar, it pushes the fabric, then by the time it's done the 'v' its really bad, This is with 2 layers of tear away and 2 layers of h20 gone underneath which are spray adhesived to the fabric and each other.

That's a great arrow. Hope your DD appreciates all of the work that you do for her.

i think you need to only try 1 layer of cut away stabilizer and spray it with some 505 or the like. i have never used more than that on t-shirts, it is loosing something as it goes, more stabilizer is not always better and water soluble on t-shirts does not keep the shape after its been washed a few times.

How about an iron-on stabilizer? I LOVE it for stretchy things like t's and sweatshirts. I can sure see why it's happening with such intense stitching in one direction on stretchy fabric. What if you slowed down the stitching? I can control the speed if I use my foot pedal.

It's set for the lowest speed. I may just go with crossed hockey sticks in white threadwork with the 'future canuck' above it.
I'm thinking I'll wait and see what color this ones going to be on Nov 5 cause if it's a girl then I'll have to make a change to the design. I'm thinking they still don't allow girls on NHL teams.
