Glad you found a place Kathy! The colors sound like it was pretty crazy when you walked in! I'm like you, I'd rather paint and make it my space, nice and clean, than have to live in someone elses idea of decorating!!!

How many are on facebook? I know that has slowed down the talk on our family web site even though a lot of us don't have it the talkative ones are using facebook a lot.

Just now seeing this post. I haven't really posted in months because school has been so hectic. Well, this week is spring break, and I intend to get some sewing done...and that will probably lead to a few posts by me. I'm so excited to get some sewing done. Aside from hemming pants, and a still UFO formal dress I started over Christmas, I haven't used my machine since classes started in September.

Those of us on Facebook don't talk sewing on Facebook. Personally, I'm viewing Facebook mainly because I can keep in touch with my family (brother, sister, niece's and nephews) and can see their photos because that is where they post them. I'm friends with other SWU members but myself don't often post anything on FB. I usually come over here to see what's going on and mainly post here. I know that many SWU play the games on FB...but that's not me. But I do spend a lot of my time on the computer googling and reading quilting and some sewing blogs. I find so many interesting things out there...but SWU is my favourite place to check.

My daughter's spring break is March 8th. She'll work over that week but will have her mornings free to sleep in as her morning job will be off that week. She is so excited to have some time off just to veg & hang out with friends. I see a lot of late nights in my future as I don't go to sleep until she is in at night.

Just found out my DD's spring break is March 6-12.
Mine is the first week of April & we get a bonus day this year since Good Friday falls the day before break starts. Last year it was at the end of break sowe went back to school on Easter Monday. I like this way much better except it means 5 days of no pay.

Our pay is divided into 12 equal checks. We only get paid for the days we work, but it's in 12 monthly checks. Makes it nice in the summer time to get a paycheck. Is yours not that way too?
