Kinda quiet around here?

New postby fabric_addict on Tue Feb 23, 2010 6:38 pm

Is it me or does it seem rather quiet around here? I keep trying to check the new posts and I don't seem to see much new up...Granted, I'd not been on much for a while myself, but I thought I remembered there usually being quite a few new messages whenever I'd check when I come on in the past. Maybe this is just a sign I'm checking this message board too often and not getting work done that I'm supposed to. :D

I thought the same thing. I figured people are going to come on & post a whole lot of finished projects because no one is on here talking.

Yup, very, very quiet. Maybe everyone is sewing? I'm being bad, playing on the computer.

I thought it was quiet also. I'm lurking and watching Olympics. Trying to get some hand quilting done in there too. I'm making myself a wall hanging from fabric I bought on vacation last summer.

I'm here. Sewing up a storm (lots of UFO's), helping choose fabrics for the store, baking bread, unpacking boxes (still) and playing the stupid time consuming games on Facebook.

Nope, but there was one for Cuba in March...and I snatched it up... :P
But in the meantime, I'm watching the figure skating and curling. But I have a baby shower that I need to make a diaper bag...March 6 and I haven't started it yet. There I go madly sewing last minute...again... :shame:

Kath, you're fine. I've had the 40 lashes with a wet noodle treatment before when I have been passionate about something. Tell me how your furbaby is doing. Is he still lonesome or enjoying the solo treatment? When my Pepper died, Jasper moped for about 2 months & then started to enjoy being the solo puppy dog. It lasted about 6 months & then Max came to live with us. Within the year, Jasper (who was over 12 at the time) joined his puppy brothers in heaven. Now Max enjoys being the solo dog. All of my furbabies are completely & totally spoiled.
