New Vogue Pattern--Pretty

I sent Kaitlinn a pm about this new pattern, but somehow I lost it in the shuffle.. So I am putting it on here as a new thread.. I got an e-mail ad from vogue and they pictured number 8576 and I fell in love with this dress.. I think it would look perfect on Kaitlinn and I love the lines in it.. I told her all this but hit the wrong button so I think I destroyed it.. Take a look at this pattern and see if you like it.. I love it, but I think you have to have a better figure than I have to wear something like this.. I might tackle it anyway, just because it is beautiful.. IMHO..

That is a beautiful dress. There are a lot of design features in it, I can't imagine one day having the skills to do justice to it.

I did admire that dress. It does certainly look like it has plenty of pieces, but the lines are very flattering! I couldn't quite imagine where I would wear it, but if I could think of an occasion (with plenty of lead time!) I would think about it. The neckline seems a bit low, and it doesn't seem totally straightforward to raise it without messing up the look.

I have heard these "Divine Details" patterns are quite good although they have a lot of steps. Lennie made a "Divine Details" dress a while back: Divine details dress.

I really like the color they used!

That is an interesting dress & I think it would look great color blocked for all of the different pieces ... say blue & white or black & cream.

I thought the same thing about color blocking it. It looks like such a fun pattern. It's so very tempting, but I have nowhere to wear it.

I don't either, but I really think it is a great dress.. I remember Lennie's beautiful B & W dress.. I did not remember that it was from the same Vogue Group .. I am curious to know if the neckline is too low or not.. I may pick the pattern up at the next Vogue sale just to see..
