I have a nightgown cut out I can't sew though until I get my Christmas tree down & everything put away! That is the downfall off not having a real tree. With the real one it was a fire hazard so i couldn't procrastinate. This one I just leave the room & forget about it.
That will be my first project today once I get off here.

I have a top to cut out. I just can't seem to muster the energy.

I'm with you Dorothy. I have had a headache all day. I did get the tree down yesterday but it is all still in the livingroom. I need to bring the containers from the basement to put everything in but have no energy. DGS was here yesterday & wanted to play games while his mom was at the grocery store. Then he helped me make homeade pizza & choc chip cookie bar for dessert. then his Mom, dad, & brother got here & we ate & played more games until they went home & I went to bed.
Today I have folded some laundry & did some dishes. Other than that I have been at the computer or couch all day. Going to DDs for dinner @ 5:30 so I need to get ready soon. Maybe I can get something done next weekend as we have a 3 day weekend for Martin Luther King Day.

I finally got my top cut out. Do I get to count the fabric I used up when I cut two right sides of the back and had to cut the left one again? Good thing I bought extra fabric.

The only thing I have made did not take enough cloth to even count.. I made one of those water bottle carriers with the twill tape ribbon for carrying around the neck or over the shoulder just to see if I could remember how to do it.. It turned out pretty good.. But how do you count one piece of quilted fabric that is only 9 X ?? inches.. and 40 inches of ribbon that is 1/2 inch wide.. It was not hard to do except putting the bottom circle in.. That was a little time-consuming.. (to get it right and not stitch in the wrong place.. Of course my water bottle is the smaller one.. I was pleased with it overall.. I was really trying it out to see if I wanted to teach it in my next class (starts in Feb. and I have tote bag ((simple)) and steering wheel covers already on the agenda for this time) but with 6 classes, I think we have plenty of time.
