I need help sorta

Does anyone know if there is a standard size for a neckroll pillow? I can't seem to find any measurements in my reference books. I am trying to finish this project up today for a client. Any help is appreciated.

Looking at this "luxury" neck roll site the standard seems to be 7" X 14". Look at those prices! Hope you're charging enough, Leighanna.

First Thank you for the help. Do you think that the 7" is the circle and the 14" the length? This is what I assume. And I don't think that I am charging enough. I just made her a pillow sham (and of course I added the batting to the top with an inner muslin lining) with purchase braid on the edge. I only charged her 35.

I think you did because I'm assuming that you used some fantastically beautiful, expensive outer fabric as well.

And yes, 7" is the diagonal measurement of the end and 14" the length of the bolt. That's what I'd assume. Is that close to what you were doing anyway?

Yes. I think that I have done waaay to much work this week on waaay to little sleep. I seem to be asking a lot of really dumb questions, that I already know the answers. The lady that I am doing this for is a sometime sewist. I admire her effort, but I am trying to finish and clean up a project that she really needed yesterday, but I needed sleep just a little more than her needs. Still a little sluggish, but hoping to catch up soon. DH has taken to drugging me at night so that I will sleep and not worry about all the rush projects the girls are dumping on me.

I think that my new mantra for the New Year will be: Just Say NO!

But I am a softie and don't want anyone to not get what they want. '

Leighanna, sometimes we need to say NO so other health problems won't sideline us (ask me how I know this). Did you decide about your embroidery machine? I found that Embird has an add-on program called Embird Studio that is for digitizing designs including photos. It is only about $150. Guess what is next on my "wish list". Hope that you are able to get some rest soon.
