I don't care what your political affiliation, if you are eligible and haven't already voted early or absentee, please get out there and vote! :)

We just voted about an hour ago. Very quick - probably took about 5 minutes start to finish. I'm glad that we didn't have to wait long, but I do hope the turnout is good! I think a lot of people voted early and absentee - there was a 2-4 hour wait at the early voting place over last couple of weeks.

I am so excited by this election! Probably more excited than I've ever been before. It's 9:30 and after reading the paper I'm here to check in and then I'm out to vote. We have three polling places in town this year when we've always had one for the 3500 people that live here. Hoping for a huge turn-out. It's been raining cats and dogs all night and still is. I know it was all night since I was up three times (for various lengths of time) with my old dog, Leo, who had a bad case of the runs. Poor guy. Poor us......

I got back from India Thursday morning and I crept in just under the gun for early voting Friday afternoon.
