I'm really slow today! I started off reading here and thought, well, that's odd, but I guess I can live with it, and then I started thinking about all the things I liked on the sewing side, then started reading on. Good one Kaitlin!! I think I'm going to order me a short arm quilter~!

I do a little quilting, but when I read that my heart just sank... You know that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach..??? Kaitlin, You are great at April fooling.... You really got me with that one.. I was thinking as I read that, "She was just talking about all her new wardrobe, how can she change so quickly???"" ... LOL you got me good, and I usually don't fall for them.. I've pulled so many myself that I'm hard to fool, but you really did it..

Okay, little Miss Kaitlin..not a nice thing to do to those of us who have days that we think that memory loss is starting to set in...I jumped backand forth about five times before I realized what had happened!! :brick: :brick: :brick:

Glad to know that I'm not totally losing it!! April Fool's Day to you too!!

The really sad thing is that I never even noticed yesterday when I was on - but I kept the site open and I noticed the task bar at the top and I wondered what on earth was going on. Then I went to announcements to try and work it out. OMG. My stomach sank too.

Good one Kaitlin - now that I know it's not real.

OMG! Kaitlin, you and your Bob have some explaining to do young lady! Shame on you two :shame: for scaring us "(mostly) old enough to be your moms" half to death! Bad, bad behavior from both of you. It could be fatal at some of our advanced ages!

Okay, had to get that off of my chest. I feel better now. ;)

I was up visiting my Mom for a couple of days and peeked in but didn't have time to post so I did happen to see what went on. My first thought was, Naaaaaahhhhhh, Kaitlin wouldn't do that. She doesn't quilt. Then I remembered what day it was.

Thanks for the laugh. While driving I thought of the following based on people's reactions to the prank above.

Kaitlin, I was thinking it would be interesting to submit a poll asking these questions.

1) Do you quilt exclusively?
2) Do you sew garments/crafts exclusively?
3) Do you mostly quilt, sometimes sew?
4) Do you mostly sew garments/crafts, sometimes quilt?
5) Do you do everything all the time?

Word it however you like but I suppose you get the gist. I just would like to know how we all break down into categories.

Awww I missed it. I've been so busy picking out house things I didn't even think about April Fool until yesterday and it was too late. I'm the one that usually gets everyone. A few years ago I told all my kids and their wives I was pregnant. Boy did I have them going. I had even the grandkids calling me up to ask if it was true. That was a good one Kaitlin and Bob. But don't you ever think about doing that to us. I'm a quilter but I love my sewing fix too. :shame: :shame: :shame:

 You guys are so...trusting. :)

I do like that poll idea. I'll set one up later this evening. BTW, anyone can make a poll who wants to -- the poll creation feature is down below the "submit" button. ;)

OOOOOhhhhhhhhhhh, you know I thought so, Kaitlin. I would have done it but I didn't look long enough to find it. Figured only the chosen few could do it. ;) Thanks. Now I know.

Hey, just looked and didn't see anything like that. Just "Save Draft", "Preview", "Submit". Nothing on my posting page that mentions polls at all.
