I used 5.75 yards making Easter dresses for two adorable little girls in my life. I posted a picture in completed projects section at the link below.

Finally finished a top & pair of shorts for our vacation. Unfortunately I'm having a fat weekend & don't really like the way anything looks so no pictures. It was a complete stash-busting outfit tho - used a pattern that I already had, fabric, used up all the 1/2 inch elastic that I had in the waistband, used 4 buttons that I took off a nightgown that was worn out (turned them over & the back was a perfect match to the border. The fabric had a dark pink background, a lighter pink floral print & the border print was in navy. I had thread that matched the floral print & border perfectly, so I used the pink for construction & the navy for the buttonholes & ran out of the pink finishing the hem. I don't know if I'll get anything else finished before we leave, but I'm at least getting close to my goal.

I don't remember what I put as my goal but I finally sewed yesterday! I made curtains for my laundry room.

Only a month left on the challenge! :) I have to admit, I have not exactly been in "stash reduction" mode, which is why I haven't posted much here. I do hope to sew a few projects from my stash in the near future, but unfortunately I don't really have color-coordinating fabrics for my wardrobe project in my stash at the moment. I do have a couple stash fabrics I hope to work in for summer. I did manage to accomplish a major goal without sewing a stitch - I've gotten rid of the huge boxes of fabric lying around my sewing room. The fabric is now neatly organized and stored in plastic containers in the closet. :)

Anyway, keep it up everyone! :applause:

Between the toe and selling GS cookies I have had minimal time to sew. And now that my room is clean I don't want to mess it up.

I made 4 ConKerr Cancer pillowcases for pediatric patients. Last Friday morning I went over to a friend’s house, and we made 4 each. Mine all came from my stash, so I was quite happy to see that happen. My daughter had a melt down when she saw them, as I had used a fabric that she had wanted made into a dress. I’m pretty sure that I will give it to her – probably tomorrow as she has something pretty special she is going to do. I posted a picture of 3 of them in the completed projects thread.

Ok I found my goals.

Mom of Six
OK here are my goals:
Sew buttons back on DH's pants & DS's shirt
sew aprons I cut out for work
Make DD's cloak (was supposed to be Christmas)
Make curtains for laundry room
Make DGD's Easter dresses
Then whatever suits my fancy when I have time & energy to sew!

Last week I got the curtains made that took 2 yds.
I got all the buttons sewed back on today & even added DH pants button.
I got the Aprons sewn tonight while I watched Big Brother & Oprah's Big Give
Put the cloak on hold because Dd doesn't take the bus much now that she has to be at school an hr. early I drive her.
I got out the pattern & fabric for the Easter dresses but want to do some measuring first to make sure I make the right size.
I will probably do that on Thursday.

If I get that done DD wants a new shirt for Easter & I might even make myself one.

I just have to look the other way when I walk past the computer. Sew then type?

I made three more dish towells and cut out a knotted front top of my own design. It needs lots of tweeking. This is a wearable muslin. The towell has been in the stash only 2 weeks but the top fabric I have hade for months. I bought it strictly to use for muslins of knit tops.

5 yards of flannel backed vinyl for table cloths.
1/4 yard of fleece scraps for more dog toys.
Also I used up loads of scraps for yo yos but no real way to calculate them.
