moms birthday shirts

hello --its been awhile.. hope everyone is doing well.
these are some blouses i made for mom for her birthday. for the butterfly fabric i used Mcalls M5754(2008)
i used View B.. the fabric is butterfly print and i used a black lace overlay on yoke to down play the brightness of the
colors The second blouse is Mcalls 9424 (1985) The print was rock n roll and looked like elvis presley. I made the front and back yoke
a contrasting black of velvet teen... also on the back-- i put tabs with eyelets and tie made from the fabric so the shirt could be adjustable.
my mom was real happy
