My First Quilting Project

So pleased with my very first quilt for my new niece or nephew due at Christmas time. Was so much fun getting into quilting never thought it would be something i would enjoy had not sewed in almost two decades but enjoyed my self so much thinking of making a cot bumper to match the quilt with the left over scraps

Looks adorable!!! I'm not a quilter but am taking hand quilting lessons ... I'm just not that good at it yet.

Does that technique have a name. I have not seen it before in a quilt. I really like it and I think you did a fantastic job for your first ! ! Congratulations...

Thank you yes they are called puff or biscuit quilts or some call them bubble quilts also.
