Laundry Room

New postby MartySews2 on Thu Jul 30, 2015 5:21 am

The laundry room is done ... it is such a small room barely 6ft x 8ft ... Here is a photo looking at the room from the doorway of the kitchen. I now have a nice cutting surface for my fabrics that is the perfect height for my 5'7" frame.

Nice laundry room Marty. Love the looks of the table, it is beautiful.
I have a small closet that holds a stacked washer/dryer unit. All my supplies I have to keep in my linen closet across from the machines and I fold my clothes on my bed. It works but would love to have the space to keep everything/fold clothes in one spot.

Brockie, I love folding clothes on my bed because the dressers are right there and the linen closet is just outside of my bedroom door. It makes it much easier. My cutting counter is supposed to be strictly for me to cut fabric. However, I was not pleased when hubby started making sourdough bread and is using my counter for his starter loaf. He needs to get out of that mind set quickly. My new cabinet for the microwave arrived today. I'll be assembling it tomorrow. I am so glad to see an end in sight for the renovations.
