, when you post , at the bottom of the post page there is the option to "upload attachment". Just pick the forum you want to post into (probably the one for "tutorials and completed projects". Post a new thread there and then scrol down to the bottom of the page for upload attachment and there you will be able to post your pics. The resolution has to be decreased so it will post them. That would be done when you save them to your computer before posting. I am able to save mine as for e-mail and they post easily.

Daz, you have to key in the word overlock or serger (same thing/different terminalogy) on the singer site. Start off threading the upper looper (pink), then the lower looper (yellow), then the chain looper (purple) & then the needles (blue & green). Make sure that your presser foot is in the up position so the tension guides are open. That will give you a 5 thread stitch. Here is a link for a youtube video on theading a singer 4 thread serger. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcDjqfjTx-A&noredirect=1
You can check YouTube for more videos. Daz, sorry that I cannot get to Barcelona to help you.

My advice is , I am sorry ... You have to have a manual. If you don't have the money now, put the machine away until you have it. That is too costly a machine to ruin, and you could ruin it.. I don't mean to be harsh, but this is a must in my book.

Daz, sorry for giggling, but you and your serger are quite the pair!! A serger and overlocker are the same thing, I think serger is the North American term. If I lived closer I'd come help too!
But here's a ((((((((((((hug)))))))))))) if that helps! Now take a deep breath, have a glass of wine, and try one more time! Oh, chocolate also helps!

I know you are going to love your serger ... I truly love mine. My family does too. Two days ago I completed 25 Christmas Stockings and after they were cut out, I sat at the serger and serged the seams , 1 all around and then I truned them rightside out and pressed them. Then I had to go to regular machine and hem the top. These are going to a military unit overseas. It took me longer to hem the tops of 7 of them that it took me to serge all 25 to start with. I make tee shirts lin 22 minutes, and I am not a speedy person. Sergers save so much time. Mine is 21 years old, so it is very plain and has no bells and whistles. But, I know you are going to be happy when you get it going.

Once you have threaded the machine correctly, there is a simple solution to re-threading or changing colors. Don't pull the old thread out. First tie an overhand knot to connect each new thread to the old at the spools. Now turn the wheel back a little to unlock the threads and pull the old thread through the machine with the new thread attached. You will still need to thread the needle unless you are using a very large needle, but this saves a lot of time and frustration. It's how they do it in a factory.
