Great British Sewing Bee

Has anyone watched this seasons shows? They are on YouTube currently but it is my understanding they won't be there long.
I watched 3 of them yesterday sort of skimming thru the fluff. There are more men on this show than the first season and one of them has been outstanding in what he puts out. One of the challenges was a kilt. His was gorgeous and was the garment of the week. Other challenges had only so-so outcomes. The one where they all had to make a sheer blouse, design of their choice, wasn't very successful. The 3D challenge was fun as costumes were made for children and were modeled by the kids. I would never be any good at remodeling RTW clothing or making something out of the 60s era drapes. Some of the outfits remodeled and made were astounding.

I didn't realize that Season 2 was on YouTube now. I understand that Season 3 is in the process of being filmed or has been also. I loved Season 1. Thanks for the reminder Brockie!!!

Yes I am watching series 3. Watched the semi final yesterday. The tasks seem to be harder this series but the competitors might be more skilled too.
Can't wait for the final next week.
I think some epsides might be up on you tube they don't stay long.
I use tunnel bear to access from BBC2 replay

Marty, it is season 3 that is playing now. I didn't get to see season 2 for some reason it wasn't on Youtube or if it was I missed finding it.
Skye, you are right they don't stay on YouTube for long. I couldn't find the first episode of this season the other day when I was watching. I agree that the challenges seem to be more difficult-making a kilt!! It looks easy from the outside but apparently there is a lot of "guts" inside that help it maintain waist shaping and pleat hanging. A blouse of their choice had to be made out of sheer fabric and I know that type of fabric can be challenging on a good day let alone on one where you are working under pressure.
