Aaarrrggghhh!!!

When cleaning the bobbin area of my sewing/embroidery machine last night, I dropped the needle plate screw into the innards of the machine. It slipped out of my fingers as I was trying to pick it up. Even turning the machine (with hubby's reluctant help) upside down, the screw did not come out. Now, it's off to the shop today to retrieve the screw. Am hoping the cost is not too much as our budget is tight now. Hubby and Baby Girl are taking it in for me as I will be working at the church all day today ... receptionist for the day ... Of course, I have 28 items to be embroidered of which 3 of them go back to school with Baby Girl on Friday.

Hope it was found ok. I was going to suggest a little magnet but then probably not with a computerized machine. Glad to hear your daughter is still with you. When does she return?

My dealer is so good ... fixed my machine with no charge ... retrieved the screw from the bottom of innards of the machine, reset the bobbin case (I had put it in incorrectly), and did test stitch outs to be sure it was working properly. Hubby waited while the tech worked on it. Miss Ellie was waiting for me when I got home from church yesterday afternoon. I talked with the tech afterwards when I called to thank them and he told me that those magnetic wands or magnetized tools will NOT hurt my machine. Probably, at some point, I'll invest in one.

My Baby Girl returns to school on Friday afternoon. I will miss her.

That is great you machine person fixed everything while you waited. Enjoy the remainder of your time with your "Baby Girl". I'm sure she will miss you too.
