quilting with fleece

Ok, I have purchased the fleece for backing for my tshirt quilts. Now I have a question. I wasn't planning on putting batting in as they are heavy now without the back. I will spray adhesive the top and fleece together but am not sure about quilting it. Any one ever tried doing a fleece backing?

I use fleece on all my baby quilts - no batting so that the quilt can be washed in the washing machine.

I do not do dense quilting I like the quilts to be cuddly.
I am making my son a denim quilt from his old jeans for his Xmas present this year and just plan on initially stitch in the dtich and then see how it goes from there.

Polishing the surface of your machine helps the quilt move will quilting.

Well, I am happy to announce I have two t-shirt quilts with fleece backing all ready to quilt! I think I am just going to stitch in the ditch, seems like it will be the easiest, then use a cotton binding. Hope to have them done by the weekend. The 2nd top took me another 4 hours today to get finished, why it was so hard to put together and the other one so easy is beyond me, but they are both done. I was going to embroidery on the sashing, but have decided against that and will just do a really nice embroidered label for each back.
