Kaitlin,

It appears that the link to the SWN archives is not working.

Sorry Gina, I was moving it to a different location just then. It should either be working now, or will be shortly. You shouldn't be up so late. :-)

kaitlinnegan wrote:Jen - see this thread: View New Posts

Here is the explanation I gave in that thread:
Edited to add: Ok, the definitive answer is that "View new posts" shows the new posts since you last logged in. So, if you have it set to log you in automatically, it never gets reset and shows a bunch of old posts toward the bottom of the list. If you get logged out at some point, the "new posts" get reset and would happen to be all unread. Hopefully that makes sense -- anyway, the feature has not changed. As before, if you want to look for new unread posts, you can just look from the top down for unread posts as they are sorted by date.

So, you probably got logged out and your "new posts" got reset and now only shows the posts since you last logged in. If you click "View active threads" instead you can see the last 75 posts from newest to oldest, not just the new ones since you logged in last. Hope this helps! :)

Please pardon my stupidity. I think I may have been asleep when I wrote that. :)

I figured you were probably doing updates, but figured better let them know just in case. It worked just fine this morning.

Update on the View New Posts feature -- with the software update it did actually change. Now clicking "View New Posts" only shows the new posts since you last visited the site (not since you last logged in). As I said before, if you want to view more than that, click "View Active Threads" to see the 75 most recent threads.
