I had a great time! Even when it started raining at the very end. We just stayed a little longer & waited it out a little under the canopy!
Now I have to get through Doug's BDay dinner tomorrow (actual BDay is the 17th) & maybe I can relax a little this week!

Barb, I hope that you get a chance to rest some this week. You'll wear yourself out otherwise. Take some time for you & do what you want to do.

I was in the crafts room at VBS all day saturday, having fun.. We had 68 kids thru the day. Largest class was 13. So much fun. One of the 4 yr olds looked up at me when I handed him a sea creature to color (he saw the back of my hand) and said "you must be old" . I smiled and said I sure am, honey. (He had not seen wrinkled hands like mine, I guess.) One of the helpers asked me why I did not fuss at him. He was a 4 year old and he did nothing wrong as far as I am concerned. I got a kick out of it.

When little ones ask me if I'm old, my response is "I'm older than dirt". LOL!!! They are so cute at that age.

When I worked in a real estate office, there were two older gentlemen working there. One said he was older than dirt and that the other was older than God!

Just the right answer, Libby. It's just honest curiosity. ;)

One of my girls once asked me if grandma (my mom) was a pilgrim when she was little, had a good laugh about that.

I was once asked when colour came into the world - all the tv footage was in black and white in the olden days so obviously, there was no colour.
