Hello to everyone!

Hello!!

I am new to the boards here but hope to become a regular really soon! I am a pre-beginner sewer but my mother in law is here (esrun3)and she is awsome so I have some good instruction ;) . I am just learning how to use my machine and what everything is and all of that but consider myself a fast learner! I have really enjoyed sewing so far and it looks like it will only get better! I hope to be chatting and posting with you all very soon!

Hi Valinda, glad you found us. Everyone this is my dil with the very cute little boys Justin and Connor. She's really looking to join in our FQ swaps so I know she'll be in the next one for sure! She was here over the weekend raiding my stash to start her own Christmas presents.

Debby, I gave her the instructions for the placemats so I'm expecting a set for Christmas!! (If she knows what's good for her!) LOL ;)

lol Of course I actually practiced yesterday and may I say that my practice set came out awsome and I didn't even need Shawn's help! He didn't even have to thread the machine for me!

Welcome Valinda, can't wait to have you join our swaps. Just be good to your MIL, Lyn is a one of a kind special lady, but I am sure you know that already. I really do like that placemat pattern too, I think I may make some for Thanksgiving out of our fall fqs. Didn't mean to ramble, welcome again Valinda!! :applause:

Welcome Valinda, what a joy for Lyn to have you on the board with her!! Hopefully someday one of my girls will also get really hooked on sewing and join up as well. Glad to have you aboard.

Welcome! I am fairly new at sewing also. You definately learn by doing. I could probably write a book about what not to do, lol.
