Boy Scout Fabric

Don't we have some Boy Scout moms here? I thought I'd mention Equilter has new Boy Scout theme fabric. If you are not familiar with them, they are a reliable source with very good service. The prices aren't great but the fabric is good.

I just thought I'd mention it because I know boys are hard to sew for.

Thanks, Dorothy. I'll check it out. I sew various things for a Boy Scout leader on dh's dept. so it'd be nice if I could show him what's out there should he need anything sewn. I've made kerchiefs for him among other things and today am finishing up making shorts out of military camo pants for his boys.

Just checked it out. Neat. Lots of firefighting stuff too. I've been there before and ordered patriotic fabrics for bandanas for someone. Nice quality and I recommend them too.

Just got home from camping with the Cub Scouts. I can think of lots of things that I could make with those fabrics.

Hi Gina, welcome back. Camping with the scouts in the heat of the summer is no fun. My BIL hiked the NM/AZ desert with his son this past spring. I forget what the name is but it is part of the Triple Tier. Both of my nephews completed the Triple Tier requirements and are Eagle Scouts and leaders. One of my nephews is at George Washington University in Washington, DC working on a law degree. They loved scouting and stayed with it continuously.
