A great day

New postby Mom of Six on Fri Jan 04, 2013 6:27 pm

I was supposed to be cleaning my sewing room but instead I had 4 fellow lunch ladies over for lunch, we had 4 different soups Bean/ham, potato/ham, chicken noodle, & vegatable beef. I made the first 3 & a friend made the vegatable. We just sat & talked until 1 had to go to her evening job. The others sat for another 1/2 hr. It was a great relaxing afternoon. Now DD has friends here, I am going to head upstairs & clean!

Barb, I had intentions on cleaning up my sewing stuff and declutter but I ended up helping my daughter get some of her paperwork for graduate school done. Then my daughter & husband left so I laid down to take a nap until the phone rang. It was a friend confirming our plans for tomorrow. I'm having a tupperware party ... so I know that there will not be any sewing tomorrow or decluttering either. I did get a chance to sleep for a little over an hour before the phone woke me up again but this time, my daughter answered it. By then, my hubby was home and Sarah was cooking dinner. She's watching a basketball game in the living room so I can't in there tonight to declutter and clean. So, I'm folding laundry while watching TV in the bedroom and clothes are in the washer and dryer. Barb, I'm so glad that you had a wonderful day as you deserved it so much. Have a great day tomorrow!!!

OK, Barb. Guess it is one of those things that you just know it is time to straighten up. I get to that point too. When you have to move one pile to get to the item you want or shuffle stuff to find a palce to cut something out.
