Has anyone had a problem getting renewal notices for more than the actual subscription price?
I subscribe to VOGUE Patterns magazine, inside on the page where there is very small writing
giving all the legal mumbo jumbo with who the editor is and address to the office and what not,
there is subscription info. It says US $18.95 a year, 6 issues a year, $5.95 single copies. The little flyers that come out when
you flip thru the mag is a little postcard to subscribe saying "Save 45% off cover price 6 issues just $18.95"
Even on this little postcard there is a spot to check for "renewal" and a spot for acct number.
My problem is -is that I got a renewal envelope mailed to me for 1 year, 6 issues for $28.95.
The address it mails to is the same as the postcard...so it can't be a phony or third party renewal
service. Even the website http://www.voguepatterns.com says the sub price is $18.95. I think I will renew online
Buyers beware.
