I can't remember what I have to do to shrink the images to post them on here. So I am going to try a link to my Facebook album. Here's the dress. Let me know if it doesn't work, I may have to change my privacy settings.

Looks great, Gina! Was it difficult to do all those seams in the skirt with the satin? I really love the swirling panels - I have a very similar skirt pattern that I really want to make for spring/summer.

It was easier than I thought it would be. The pattern pieces look kinda like a J but the hook curls in. It is hard to explain. I want to make another one from less fancy fabric. Maybe I will remember to photograph the process.

Looks like you did a great job, Gina! That slinky stuff can be so hard to work with. It puckers and slips and warps............ :x Dd looks happy too.

Wow, that looks harder than the satin tiered skirt i made for my daughter to get married.
All that slippery fabric, and that curve in the panels look like a real pain to me!
But the color is great and your daughter looks fantastic.
