Looks great, Gina! Was it difficult to do all those seams in the skirt with the satin? I really love the swirling panels - I have a very similar skirt pattern that I really want to make for spring/summer.

It was easier than I thought it would be. The pattern pieces look kinda like a J but the hook curls in. It is hard to explain. I want to make another one from less fancy fabric. Maybe I will remember to photograph the process.

Wow, that looks harder than the satin tiered skirt i made for my daughter to get married.
All that slippery fabric, and that curve in the panels look like a real pain to me!
But the color is great and your daughter looks fantastic.
