I don't like the D9P design

New postby icetbear on Wed May 23, 2012 7:57 pm

Hi quilting gang :) I have been looking through online quilting albums. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder ;) I love HST's, batiks, pastels, fun kids quilts, charm packs and memory quilts. I don't have a large stash, but buy by project. I have discovered that 'quilt police' do exist on many quilting forums, one can actually have TOO MANY RULERS and too large a stash can cause marital discord :( On the bright side, quilters come from every corner of the world, many quilt for sheer pleasure, much like the quilters on this forum. Thank you for your support, happy quilting. Take care.

In the beginning I found the D9P cute...and I wanted to make one. Now I've seen so many of them that I'm not really interested in making one any more. But I kinda said I would make a quilt for a friend and was going to use that design...but do the blocks on point. I've used EQ6 to design my layout but never got around to starting it since that was back in January just before my aunt broke her leg. I know I need to get back to it...but have lost interest in doing it. :(

And Nanabear...NO...you can't have tooooo many rulers OR toooooo large a stash. That I know from personal experience...but I am only trying to maintain the status quo now  But I don't have to worry about anyone's discord...LOL

 I'm sitting here trying to figure out what the heck a D9P is and I got it! :applause: I did three of them and now that I've done it, time to move on.
