...just may be the name of this quilt when...or if it ever gets..finished. I've been working on piecing this whenever I've been home, and trying to keep myself sane, during the past few months. It is from the Orca Bay mystery quilt that Bonnie Hunter from Quiltville.com website ran back in December. For some reason I though that I'd do this as a leader & ender project...but really got into sewing all these little bitty blocks in the past few months. I know that I have lots of other UFO tops that I should be working on ...but just can't seem to make myself stop working on this one...
So thought I'd take some pics of my progress so far to share. And you'll note that it's a long way from finished...
Ohio star blocks - and QSTs ready to be sewn into more OH star blocks...These are 6.5" unfinished.
Wing Units - On the left, lots of HSTs ready to be sewn, some HSTs sewn together and some triangles to be sewn into wing units. On the right are some finished wing units!
String blocks - Green & purple string blocks all completed using up scraps. Bottom has one green triangle with wing units sewn on. Lots more to do...
