Thanks Lori and Laura as always for the kind words. I am really enjoying this project having learned one very important skill ;) Take my time!!!!!!! My cutting is much better so the points are matching up. I have gone through the first panel of six animal prints and will just repeat for the second half of the quilt. Thankfully I bought lots of fabric :) I'll post a picture of the finished product. Take care.

Wahoooo :applause: Caleb's Fun on The Farm quilt top is finished. I matched every point so I am especially pleased with my efforts to take my time cutting the squares. Lesson learned - not all fabric panels, i.e. the animal prints are the same size. I didn't realize this until I started to piece the strips horizontally. I had to rip a bit but the top looks good ;) I am now figuring out how best to piece the backing together. I embroidered his name and the date on different squares. I will post a photo when I get the backing done. Take care.

NanaBear a happy quilter today

Hi sweet quilting gang :) Caleb's farm quilt is finished and I am very pleased with the outcome. I will get some pictures up hopefully this week. So, I have made two full size quilts, three wall hangings and a blind cover. Does this mean that I can post with the big kids or do I have to stay on the Beginner's Forum? Thank you again for all your friendly help, you are a great bunch, take care.
