Spent all day waiting at the hospital ... finally at 4pm, I was taken to the Heart Cathe Lab procedure room. I was given some drugs and knocked out. Then the procedure was done. Around 6:30pm, I was taken back to my room and I promptly fell asleep. At 9pm, I was awakened when my doctor came in. They found that the artery where I have one of my stents is narrowing which could be the source of the chest pain. I did not have a "silent heart attack". Praise God for His blessings today. There is another area of my heart that has atrophied. It just doesn't work which stresses out the other parts of my heart. I have about 30% heart function. I've known about most of this so it wasn't any new news. My doctor did give me the okay to resume all of my activities after a few days of rest. He didn't think that I was over doing things. He did prescribe an antacid medication for my severe acid reflux. So all is going to be well. Thank you everyone for all of your prayers, good thoughts, great wishes and so forth. Hope everyone will have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday season.
Marty ;)

Hate you had to spend all day at the hospital--yuk! But, so glad you did not have any surprises and you can get back into your routine!

God is good!! I'm relieved as I am sure you are. Please do pace yourself. Going on 3 hours sleep will aggravate any symptoms, even reflux.;)
Love to you dear friend.

Praise the Lord that the news was not anything to keep you bedridden for a long time. When you start doing your activities again, please do not overdo. We love you and want you around a long time. Thanks be to God!
