Thank you Marty. So far we are doing OK. Tired and not thinking straight but at least DD and DSIL have been taking our advice and getting some sleep. We spent 8 hours at the hospital one day so both could go home and sleep and DD went home last night to sleep and DSIL spent the night at bedside. Abby is tired too but from the looks of things is gaining a few precious ounces. From the number of dirty diapers yesterday and last night she may have lost it all too!! Surgery is scheduled for 7am tomorrow.

That's 8am, Memphis time, I'll be praying and reading Psalm 91 while she is in surgery. Hopefully God will be merciful and provide protection, strength and courage for you and your family. I'll be praying for the doctors, nurses and other medical personnel too. Wish that I could do more.

Aww.. Hope God's healing hands are there to guide the Drs and help you and her parents get some down time to recover yourselves cuz its no help when the caregivers get so stressed out and or ill themselves. Blessings to you and them and her. Its so hard to see the little ones sick. Prayers for fast healing for her.

For those who wish to participate, I'm doing a prayer vigil from 8am - 8:30am (Central Time) for Brockie and her family as little Abby undergoes heart surgery. Please feel free to join me in prayer at that time.

Thank you all for all the prayers, thoughts and hugs you've sent for Abby and our family. Her surgery went well this morning, taking nearly 2 hours longer than expected as they found another hole after they had taken her off the bypass machine and had to hook her back up. Like DSIL said he'd rather have it found then than have to take her back to surgery in a couple of days. The doctors expect her to be on the respirator at least until morning when they will wake her up to see how she will do without it. DD and DSIL are both exhausted but glad the worst of the ordeal is hopefully over. Abby is looking at another 8-10days in the hospital and I'm sure there will be bumps along the way. We are praying that any bump will be a small one so that she can get home soon and be able to continue to grow and develop like a normal healthy 3 month old does.
Again a big thank you to all for you support and prayers, it means so much to me and my family.
