Love the colors. So wish I liked to do the quilting. I could make the quilt tops all day long but it is just too expensive to have someone else do the quilting. I've priced different shops and they start at $350 for a Queen size.

Why don't you try doing the quilting Georgia Bonesteel's way. She used to demostrate that a lot on her programs. and I did it on a wall hanging I made one time. I used to have most all of her books , but I donated them to the quilt guild here in town. You can find Georgia on the internet, I am pretty sure. She lives in or near Flat Rock, NC..Last I heard you could order her books from her. Her way is to quilt all of a portion of a quilt small enough to do either by hand or machine, then attach those portions together (easy method) , finish quilting the seams part, then bind the whole quilt.

Libby, I'll have to check into that way of quilting. I have seen some of her shows on PBS at one time or another. I had forgotten about that method of working on smaller pieces before attaching them to the whole. I have made very small wall hangings that were quilted and enjoyed that. I also quilted some baby quilts and they were just too big for me to be comfortable doing even with all the rolling, folding etc to make them easier to handle.

Brockie, If you have access to a PBS channel called "Create", they show Geogria programs sometimes. Its still called "Lap quilting with Georgia Bonesteel" I think, .. Yesterday I saw the one on Thimbles..again.. It was still interesting after 10 or so years..

Thought I would share a picture of it all sewn together. Not quilted yet, but still wanted to share. It is hanging on the side of my embroidery thread rack. Figured that was a good place for spools.

Beautiful, Gina! ! I love anything purple and bright prints of all colors. That is gorgeous ... I know it will create a lot of comment from your customers..
