Dorothy, I hope your new med dosage works this time.

I cooked red beans and rice for supper tonight. I worked on cleaning out the sewing room for a while today. I actually got rid of several things. I got side tracked when I found several things I had forgot about. Not finished, but I'll have a chance to work on it again tomorrow. We get another snow day. Temps will be in the teens or below tonight, so anything that melted today (not much) will be solid by morning.
About to go crochet and watch TV with DH.

Well we left DS's house about 12:15 pm today for our trip to the hospital. We got back home about 8:30 pm. The twins are healthy and a good size for twins. #1 DGS was an angel today even without a nap. He had the attention of 2 grandmoms, 2 grandpops & 2 aunts so he was very content. We spent about 3 hours in the room with mommy, daddy and the babies and he just kept smiling at his new brothers. I love being a Nana! I never knew my heart could hold this much love!

Dorothy, I do hope the meds are adjusted correctly now.
Marty, I hope your cardiology appointment can be rescheduled for an appoint in the very near future. I agree, someone should have been on the the phone calling.

I am moping playing on the computer and trying to figgure out how much the insurance company wil pay for my poor car. I owe money for it and it is a 2005 model. I guess I'll eat some pudding and go to bed. The morning should look brighter and we will go try to get a rental car.

Yesterday I made some Mexican flavored thing for dinner and slapped it on a tortilla with sour cream and olives. Wally was impressed.
I'd spent the day in the kitchen cleaning.

Had a crazy work day. Sometimes I really find hospital work depressing! We got pizza day today as a treat from our management staff. I'm sitting in the dark while I write this, and DH is on the computer trying to put a bid on a car. I sure hope we get it!! I may be driving a new (to me)car on Sunday!!!!

Dorothy, tonight we had some Mexican flavored thing slapped on a tortilla with salsa and sour cream.

I ventured out this afternoon for the first time since last Friday, and bought some groceries. We were *gasp* about to run out of milk and bread (you southerners know what I mean). The roads were still pretty icy in shady areas (which is a lot on the country roads), but we're still having school tomorrow with a 2 hour delay. Temps will be in the teens, so I don't see how the rest of the ice will melt by 9 or 10 o'clock. My driveway is still a sheet of ice and I was stuck having to drive DH's truck today. Not as easy to steer across the ice as our car with front wheel drive.
Buses will skip routes tomorrow that are over mountains. Those students will be excused if they can't make it.

I just have to make it through 1 more day of work this week & then a 3 day weekend
Next week is the end of the semester so it is a short week the kids only go to school 2 1/2 days. They are predicting a storm here on Tuesday night so we might even get a snow day thrown in!

Yesterday I wrote a story about Lefty Glauberman. He's 93 years old and plays racquetball every morning until the spring when he organizes teams and plays golf tournaments. He's a pretty cool old guy. It's one of those stories I'm glad was done before the old fellow died and got nothing but an obit.
We had pizza and wings for dinner.

Still haven't had my cardiology appt rescheduled but hubby got scheduled for a heart catherization (his 2nd one within a year) for Tuesday. It seems he got a lot of tightness in his chest & sweaty palms after exertion ... walking the treadmill at 3mi @hour at an incline & shoveling snow off the walk & porches. The doctor doesn't want to take any chances so off we will go to the hospital next Tuesday (the 18th).
