Barb, I was at the vet all morning with Max and took a 3hr nap this afternoon since I haven't slept much since Max got sick last week. I'm just now getting on the computer today. I'm week behind on Christmas right now but hopefully will catch up this week. I've got lots of packages to wrap and ship plus finish my Christmas sewing for 2 famiies. I still have to decorate the house and purge stuff so our new windows can go in. I've got 6 wks to purge the house. I have over 1800 emails waiting to be read. For now, I've allowed myself 2 hours to be on the computer tonight.

I am not doing much today. I went to work, camee home & sat forr an hour, picked DGDs up from school, Came home & sat more, picked DD up from work, Helped DD sort wedding stuff, Sat more, ate dinner, took shower & sat some more!

Hi Barb, loved the family wedding photo I was checking on bingo but no response. Marty? 1800 emails, sorry don't believe you. Why bother when some must be months old. Hope Max is recovering I have started a quilt for DGS in St.Louis. Our Waterloo family will be here Dec.22nd to celebrate Christmas as our DDIL refuses to spend Christmas Day with us even once every ten years away from her family. DGS and I will bake sugar cookies- regular with icing and stained glass ones using Lifesaver candy to make the stained glass effect. Hot dogs roasted in the fireplace for lunch, roast beef dinner with chocolate fondue. I am still receiving my online orders for Christmas gifts, should be finished by week's end. So Barb, NanaBear/Ann from Ajax, ON is alive and well on the forum. Take good care, would love to see some more wedding photos.

I'm also alive and well in New Jersey. I've been lurking with nothing to say as I haven't been able to sew for a couple days. I've had kids since Friday evening and will take them home tomorrow. DDIL's cousin got married this weekend so I had all 3 until Sunday evening when DS picked up DGS#3. He had eye surgery to correct 'lazy eye' this morning and Dr. told DDIL to keep him quiet after the procedure so the other 2 hoodlums stayed with Nana and PopPop.

Today I did wash 12 yards of flannel to hopefully get some pj's made for the boys. I'd like to get the pants made before I take them home so I can check the fit since this is my first attempt of sewing for them. I also have 3 dark brown towels to make bear ponchos for a Christmas gift for them. Barb, I think of you and thank you for the pattern every time I make a poncho.

Ann, I belong to so many sewing/prayer groups that I get over 150 emails a day. Most of what is waiting to be read are things that I want to read. Most of the ones waiting are from Nov 20th & forward. There are a few from the last week of Sept but most are current stuff. I go thru daily & delete the advertisements and topics that don't interest me. Otherwise, I read them & respond accordingly. I have just finished my first ornament swap and got the loveliest ornament from Hawaii along with some Hawaiian candy. I am busy finishing up my Christmas sewing as well as wrapping packages. Hopefully, I will have the house decorated by Wednesday. Sarah has finished her student teaching so will have time to help out.

I am here now... but yesterday, I had some shopping to do and then I had a .... massage!!! YES... finally!! my massage lady had to take some time off...like 3 months... so I have been waiting for her to return so I pampered myself yesterday.
I really need to get busy and think about Christmas and get my pot holders started for my son!!!

Very Busy Sunday with a flat tire keeping me from church first to the WMU Christmas Banquet sunday evening. Then all day Mon. helped DS finish cleaning our huge storeroom to make room for our new freezer, and then we got it home that evening and I had to read instr. Manual.. DS does the cooking, heavy lifting, etc.. I have to do all the reading in this household..So glad we have a freezer again. Had to do without one for far too long..

My life is being consumed with puppy care. I'm looking for an easy way to clean dingleberries off her rear end. Eventually I will clip the hair around her bottom, but before I go after her with the clippers I need her to obey simple commands. She has mastered sit, today we started working on down, she doesn't respond to come but I do this little kissy squeeky thing that Droo comes to and she comes running also.
