JuneQuilting anyone?

What quilting projects are you working on?

JuneQuilting anyone?

Is anyone out there doing any quilting over the summer. I am almost done the top of DS and SO's quilt, then to do the border and bind it. It's taken a long time to do, I think I'm quilting the crap out of it (one of our quilt guild members favorite sayings!)

I have two that I'm working on hand quilting - the king sized double wedding ring and a baby sized one that's done except the border (the shower was yesterday but I didn't go).

I will be but right now I am ironing all the washed pretties I got at Keepsake's tent sale. 14 scrap bags packed full of more than 81 yards of material!! :o  It is random sized pieces from not quite FQs to just under a yard.

Unfortunately you need to practice a bit every day otherwise your hands forget the movements. Ask me how I know this...

Well, I totally had planned to work on a quilt top today and ended up ripping down 1/2 the basement suspended ceiling and replacing it with fresh new tiles and it looks wonderful. The sewing room is next, but tomorrow after church I am going to sew, DD asked for pj pants for the kids, so I did cut out 8 pairs today and will serge them tomorrow and I have a project to do for one of the women at work who asked if I'd make her buttonholes for a dress she made her DGD. I played in my fabric today for a bit, doing some sorting for quilt tops, and I should be working on summer clothes for me. Oh well! Nothing better than being in a total disaster of a mess, right?
