I'm very excited. I just finished sandwiching the train quilt and I am so pleased with how it turned out. Tomorrow I will quilt it then post a picture. I will be able to use some of it for the stash challenge which is a bonus. It was alot of work, lots of applique, but I think the woman I am making it for will love it. Definitely would make another similar to this just cause it was so much fun.

Tomorrow! I'm sewing the binding on tonight. Next project is the hockey quilt. But I've never done curved corners, and so I need some help? Any one ever done Drunkards Path? I think if I use the idea behind that I can make my corners curved. Actually I cut the basic rink out and curved the corners, then realized I have to sew 2 borders onto that curve! So any tips to doing the curve will REALLY help! Why do I get myself into these pickles.

I'm not sure if I understand what you are doing...but how about appliquing the borders on? This might be the easiest... :?:

Here are pics of my table runners...one approx. 40" and the other is a gigantic 72" :o I decided that since I was so late that I'd just get it done and only did plain ole stitch-in-the-ditch. Giving the 72" one tomorrow.

Judy the runners are gorgeous :) Mine isn't done as yet, still trying to finish the house reno before Christmas. Did you create them from stash? Lucky recipient, take care.

The peach gold and black were made with stash fabric as well as the Christmas fabric. I have a LOT of the Christmas fabric as I got it 2 years ago at 50% off. The green, gold and brown one was made from stash but the green and one gold fabric was purchased in Sept. specifically for this runner. I promised this to my friend from work back in August. And it's taken me this long to actually do it. Have I ever mentioned that I am the queen of procrastination... 8-)
