I went into 3 fabric shops/departments this weekend & didn't buy anything! I am so ready to use up fabric. I do have to buy flannel for PJ's for Christmas & Fabric for DGD's Christmas dresses but I still have a lot to use up!

Hi gang :) Please add NanaBear/Ann to the list. I will finish up Caleb's drape and then start on fresh projects for the challenge. Thank you to all who make these fun challenges work :applause: Enjoy a great week everyone, take care.

NanaBear with Thanksgiving lunch on her mind for Saturday. Must take out turkey by Wednesday, must take out turkey . . . . :anxious:

You're on the list Ann! Glad to have you along! I've been sorting fabric all day today, got a great idea from one of the quilt guild members and I am finding fabric that I never remembered buying! And i have a huge bag to give a friend who is just starting into quilting. This is what I've been doing all day, putting my 1/2 yard and larger fabrics on the larger cardboard pieces, and the 1/4 yards or 1/8 yds on the small pieces, then the scraps go into the scrap bin.ow the picture is not my fabric, but a friends stash. So far I have done the browns, blues, greens, pinks and purples then I ran out of cardboard. My sewing room is a disaster! I'm supposed to be working on the king quilt, alas, this fair maid is procrastinating AGAIN!

Good idea. It's like Dorothy and her bolts and what Barb does. Where are you getting the cardboard? Are there particular sizes you're using? I like the idea for the stuff I have on shelves.

The cardboard is from boxes at work, the pieces are cut anywhere from 6-9" wide and 9-12" tall, I didn't get too anal about it, the suggestion was 7x11". So it was cheap and easy, just time consuming.
