Hit a monumental snag today.

I found the perfect location for the store but the same day I looked at it so did someone else. I spoke with the owner today and he is pretty sure they are going to sign the lease (they were first to look and first to contact him after looking). Told him if they don't I am ready to sign TODAY! Very scary as this will be the first real money spent. But it looks like I won't get it so I have to find another location. Going out today to cruise the downtown area looking for "For Rent" signs. I heard a rumor that one business is moving to a larger location so I may pop in and talk to them.

Gina, are you working with the Chamber of Commerce and the Merchant's Association? They can really help you out. They know what's going on business-wise in your community.
