Congratulations Gina! Sounds like that dream is finally coming true. Are you going to have just yarn, you asked about yarn earlier, or are you going to have a mix of yarns and fabrics. What fun, and I'm sure a lot of work. Good luck with all.

Gina, I was thinking of you today and that it's getting close to one month now. How have things been progressing?

Miss Fleecy,

Most days I don't know which end is up. Today I built a cutting table/work station, hung a curtain rod in my alterations closet and then put in a full shift at McDonald's. Tomorrow I will go look at some second hand shelves and then go work a shift at McD's. I am off Friday and Saturday so I hope I can get a lot done. I am hoping to be open for Business mid-March. Not 100% sure I can do it but we will see.

Gina, it sounds like you are making really good progress! Wishing you all the best. Setting up a store is a huge amount of work, especially while holding down a full time job. Keep us updated on how it's going!

Hi Gina,

It's been another month so I thought I'd check in. Hope things are going well. Any measurable progress? Did you get the shelves and workstation installed? How are you doing on acquiring inventory?

Not open yet but I am ordering inventory. Took longer than I thought to get things they way I like them in the store. I got the used shelves and cutting table. I have moved my sewing studio down there. Now to stock the shelves and get open. I am saying NLT April 1st.

I love the photos on FB of your store and the name "Sew Enchanting". Cute & clever. I hope you will be very successful in this venture.
