Daylight Savings Time

New postby lendube on Tue Apr 13, 2010 12:37 pm

I've noticed that I'm still on Pacific Standard Time and there's no choice for Pacific Daylight Savings Time. Certainly no biggie but is there a reason?

Lennie, look at the next item under the time setting. THere's an item Summer Time/DST is in effect: with the Yes or No options. Select Yes.

  Yup! It's official, I'm a dummy. I knew that was there from the last time but only looked at the time zone options and thought it wasn't there anymore. Thanks, Judy!

Nope, you aren't the dummy. my BIL who lives in Camarillo CA asked me if we were on daylight savings time. He's a Canadian for pete's sake, we always changed time unless you are lucky enough to live in Saskatchewan who voted not to change. Must be all that California sun or smog that has got to his brain!
